Located in a quiet neighborhood near the Gorge Waterway, this lovely suite is on the first floor of our beautiful renovated 1910 character home.
Over 900sqft of open concept space!
Whether you are looking to explore Vancouver Island or needing a working retreat, we are perfectly located in Victoria to be a great base. The location is ideal, with a nearby bus stop, easy access to biking and walking paths and close proximity to shopping and all amenities.
The suite has recently been completely renovated. Our one bedroom, one bathroom suite has a well equipped large kitchen with eating area, separate working space, large living room with a smart TV.
There is plenty of space for both relaxing and working! This main floor suite is very bright with a private entrance and full height ceilings.
We have kept your comfort in mind when furnishing and stocking the suite. Original artwork from a local artist. You will have all the amenities of home!
You can expect your peace and quiet as there are only two mature working adults upstairs (no children :-) ).
There is free street parking directly in front of the house and it is well lite in the evenings.

Regarding our location:
If you enjoy walking, you can take an easy walk to downtown Victoria in approximately 30 - 40 minutes along the beautiful Gorge Waterway on the Galloping Goose Trail. Or you can walk part way and take a ferry taxi right to the heart of downtown, Fisherman's Warf or the Songhees Walking/Bike path.
The beautiful Gorge Waterway where you can watch all the west coast water activities - SUP, kayaking, canoeing, outriggers and swimming. There are many locations in Victoria to rent these as well. You can even have them delivered to the house and can launch them into the Gorge Waterway from beach access less than 5 minutes away!
In a short 10 minute walk there is a park with public swimming docks. We are 2 blocks from major bus routes and you can walk to local amenities (grocery stores, bakeries, coffee shops, liquor store, etc). Victoria is a growing city with an abundance of good restaurants, pubs and coffee houses.
If you have a car and would like to go a bit further, our home is in a great location for many different daytrips on the island. If driving, there is very easy access to downtown (5 minute drive) and major highways to take you up island (Duncan/Nanaimo/Parksville/Tofino) or to the Saanich Peninsula (Sidney and BC Ferries).
From downtown Victoria there is easy access to the United States. A ferry can take you to Port Angeles and another can take you to downtown Seattle.
