"The Tides" is a private ocean front surf retreat 1 hour from Victoria, which offers spectacular views of the stunning Juan de Fuca Straight. This unique setting borders China Beach provincial park and allows guests access to the local beaches . After a day of hiking, surfing, paddle boarding or whale watching the hot tub is the perfect spot to star gaze and listen to the waves crashing below. This modern 3 bedroom bungalow offers guests privacy and luxury in the most beautiful natural setting .This 2400 square foot modern bungalow has heated concrete floors and a wood burning fire place, and l stocked with lots of book and games and is situated 20 meters above the high tide line.
The covered patio overlooking the ocean below is the perfect setting to enjoy a glass of wine while listening to the waves crashing or watching surfers in the sunset. This patio has a luxurious seating area with a fire table. A short private trail leads to a rocky beach below where the locals surf . A 10 min beach walk leads to a sandy beach in the provincial park "China Beach".
