3 Bedroom Cabin in Savary Island, Lund
Vintage modern log cabin with a large, private yard. Located mid island within walking distance to Mermaid, Sutherland, Meadows, Mermaid Cafe and the Sugar Shack. The area consists of the log cabin, a bunkie, as well as a micro A frame cabin. There is ample amount of space and seating for 6 people with a generous sized kitchen that extends to a lovely outdoor patio area, complete with hammock!
Our place sits on just over an acre of land, it is very open and sunny and a fantastic spot to star gaze. There are a couple of fruit and nuts trees on the property, feel free to enjoy anything that may be ripe during your stay, if you don't the deer surely will.
In the main cabin there is a floating staircase that leads to a beautiful, bright loft with wall to wall windows. There are no blinds so as to not disrupt the view of the towering trees, however, removable black out shades are available.
The bathroom is connected to the cabin by a breezeway and the bunkie and A frame are situated a decent distance from the main cabin and bathroom. There is no indoor shower, only outdoor.
The lot is slightly slopped and there are stairs getting to the main cabin so it is not ideal for those with mobility needs.

Other things to note:
We are entirely off-grid. Solar power, generator, propane, well and septic. The majority of our place runs on solar and in the summer there should be no need to use the generator if you are using water and power mindfully.

*Hair dryers, straighteners, curlers, etc. are not permitted here*
Pillows and duvets are provided but guests must bring their own pillow cases, duvet covers, fitted sheets, beach & bath towels and kitchen linens; dish cloth & tea towels.
No outdoor fires allowed. There is an annual island wide fire ban in effect between the months of July-Sept. This could start earlier or extend later depending on the season.
The wifi only works in the main cabin, it does not reach the bunkie or the A frame.
The water comes from our well which we drink, you may prefer to bring your own though.
There is no garbage or recycling facilities on Savary. You MUST take back all your garbage and recycling with you.
You should be comfortable with reading energy levels and operating a generator if needed.
We have a few bikes and a kids trailer available for use. You can also arrange to bring your own bikes over with the water taxi.
We have a pack and play crib, baby gate, stroller, wagon, jolly jumper and bumbo seat available for use as well.
*There are some areas on the property that you may not find suitable for your young ones; floating stair case in the main cabin, areas on the large wrap around deck and a small bank on the property.*
