Summary: This is a very new property and as such is very clean. The furnishings looked new and the kitchen was well-appointed. The location is excellent, in a lovely pocket neighborhood walking distance from the sky train with a bakery and espresso bar across the street. Good, because the unit comes with just a basic carafe style coffee maker. Also good to know is that the unit does not cool down in the evening. There are two mobile fans in the unit but no other way to cool it down. The lightbulbs in the bathrooms flickered incessantly when on. The tub and shower do not have any type of grip on the surface. One has to be VERY CAREFUL getting in and out so as not to slip. The bath rugs also do not have grip on the bottom so they slide as well. There did not appear to be any face cloths in the unit so you might want to pack one. The security lights on the patio that come on outside the bedroom window at night that create a daylight effect in the room despite the blinds. The checkout process was easy. If the owner added a portable a/c unit in the summer, changed the lightbulbs, added some wash cloths, hand towels and safety bath mats in the bathroom, put up a black out blind in the bedroom, and swapped the coffee maker out for a Keurig, this place would be perfect. Even with said concerns I would book it again without hesitation.
