Our home is on a quiet cul-de-sac. We are minutes from the Park Royal Shopping Center and local transport. We are also close to restaurants and specialty stores, the North Shore mountains as well as the beach. There are also golf courses close by. **Please note that the times listed by VRBO to and through Vancouver and other locations are not accurate and are dependent upon the Lions Gate Bridge traffic.**
The beautifully remodeled Cape Cod house is on a 1/2 acre property with well-maintained gardens and a secluded backyard overlooking a creek. The backyard is partially fenced as well as a low brick wall above a drop to the creek.
On the top floor there are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom has a large 6-piece ensuite and a private deck. The main floor has an open plan gourmet kitchen with a large island and eating area with access to the front patio and a back deck.Watch the hummingbirds while enjoying breakfast at the island counter bar. The main floor includes a dining room, living room with deck access, and a sitting family room with TV and the powder room. On the lower floor is a third bathroom with a shower, a media TV room with a pullout sofa bed and access to the backyard. The large deck off the living room has an outside table with umbrella and seating for 6.
Sit on one of the decks in the back yard and enjoy the peace and tranquility while listening to the sounds of the creek. Or enjoy the beautiful garden and the goldfish in the small pond on the intimate patio in the front yard.
Take a short 20-minute walk along the Capilano River down to Ambleside beach or take a short drive up to the local North Shore mountains to enjoy all the available activities. Vancouver city-centre, less than 5 km away, is easily accessible by local transit or car. You can catch the ferry to Vancouver Island at the terminal at Horseshoe Bay, which is only 15 minutes away. Also, the drive to Whistler Mountain is less than two hours.
Two mountain bikes are available for use by arrangement. Netflix & Amazon Prime are available on the TVs.
