Summary: Our bathroom was missing a shower curtain, the coffee maker basket was moldy. I’m pretty sure that they only regularly wash the sheets and the toilet. The walls, bathroom sink, and floor were dirty. The bed was comfortable, though lacking in the usual level of pillows and blankets. It’s sad because this place could be a really good motel with some more daily care and a good scrub. At some point, they were clearly trying to make a nice comfortable place, but the maintenance just isn’t there. I saw a good relationship between some of the patrons and the owners. And one of the guys who worked there, noticed that our keys were still in the door and gave them to us… overall our experience with them was pretty good but the motel just needs a lot more love. It was $100 cheaper than everywhere else within a 50 km radius and I suppose we got what we paid for.
