This property features two A-frame cabins connected by garages (duplex-style), each with private entrances and no shared living space.
It's the first and only twin double Aframe of its kind in Michigan. The property was built in 1971, remodeled with modern touches yet keeping its charm and character. You haven't seen anything like this twin double aframe before!

This is a quiet residential neighborhood and parties are not allowed. We want our guests to have a good time but please keep the noise to a minimum and be respectful of our neighbors. Per Airbnb's recommendation, we have installed a noise monitor inside the house. Failure to follow the quiet hour requirements will result in a minimum $250 fine and a phone call to local law enforcement.
CHILDREN SAFETY:
Please keep an eye on your younger children. Lots of share edges along with steep, floating stairs. We are not liable for any accidents during your stay. Please do not book if you feel the space is not suitable for children.
PETS:
Due to family allergies, we do not allow pets in the home. If you are traveling with a service animal, we will do our very best to accommodate you, but we would encourage you to look for other pet friendly accommodations.
HOUSE RULES:
- Max of 5 people and no unregistered guests.
- No parties and loud music. No music outside.
- No smoking of any kind (cigarettes, vapors, marijuana, etc) both inside and outside the house.
- No illegal activity.
- Do not flush sanitary items down the toilet.
We do have two exterior cameras to ensure the property is safe at all times (front and back entrances).
Failure to observe any of the house rules will result in a minimum $250 fine.
CHECK IN Procedure:
- Check in time is 3pm.
- A few days prior to your check in date, we will email you detailed check in instructions.
CHECK OUT Procedure:
- Check out time is 11am (10am checkout starting 2023)
- Put all clean dishes back where they belong.
- Rinse all dirty dishes and put them in dishwasher.
- Put any moved furniture/patio chairs back where it was.
Your cleaning fee covers a normal amount of clean up in addition to washing and folding linen and folding your washed towels. Any additional cleaning (i.e. excess trash, dirt and sand, stains, etc) will result in an additional cleaning charge.
We do not expect our guests to clean during their stay, but we do expect guests to respect our home. We would appreciate it if you leave the house in the same or better condition as you found it :)
