Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The location is fantastic. I had a course at the JIBC and it was only a 30 min walk. There are also many amenities within a 5 min walk away. The neighborhood felt safe and I had no problems walking at night. The property owner supplied some essentials thar came in handy, such as a shopping bag, umbrella, and a portable heater. I also appreciated access to a vacuum to take care of small messes on the floor. The apartment is perfect for 1 or 2 people. Very clean and well kept.

Negative: The apartment was a basement suite without a temperature control, so I found it a bit cold. The kitchen only has a fridge and a microwave, so keep that in mind if planning on staying there. I was a little disappointed there wasn’t a dishwasher- not for convenience but for sanitary reasons. I ended up coming down with a cold when I got home and I can’t help but think that could be the reason. My suggestion to the property owner would be to add a countertop dishwasher.

Summary: Clean and well maintained apartment in a safe and convenient location.
