Located in a residential neighbourhood and walkable to amazing bars, restaurants, and shops, The Urban Retreat just a five minute walk to the Bloor/Dufferin TTC, giving you access to downtown, the UP Train, and all Toronto offers.

A five minute walk north to Geary Street finds the best brewery in Toronto: Blood Brothers Brewery. Geary also has restaurants like Parallel, North of Brooklyn Pizza, Good Behaviour Ice Cream and Subs, and Gaucho Pie Co (fantastic Empanadas).

A five minute walk south takes you to Bloor Street where you'll find groceries and fruit stands, coffee shops, excellent Indian, Ethiopian, and Portuguese food, bars like Winona Pub, 3 Speed, Island Oysters, the Paradise Theater and Restaurant, a comedy club, Pam's Roti, and much, much more.

The Dufferin TTC Station is a six minute walk, and the Ossington TTC station is a 10 minute walk. The UP Train to Pearson Airport and Union Station is a 25 minute walk, 5 minute Uber, or six minute walk to the TTC + five minutes on the TTC subway.
