Walk across the street to enter the village pedestrian mall and the tapestry of Sun Peaks cafes, restaurants, pubs and shops unfold in a short stroll. Start the morning ski session by walking across the street, click into your bindings and glide through the village mall and down to main lifts. Finish skiing by gliding off of the Gentle Giant ski out, release bindings across the street and home to relax.
Elevator access to a secure 1st floor ski locker and parking garage with bellman carts available in the lobby to make arrival/departure quick and easy.
Amenities include: Mountain view / balcony located hot tub, wifi, cable tv w/ Sonos audio surround sound, Apple TV, Netflix, etc. TV in the master bedroom. Six (6) pair boot, toque (hat or helmet) and mitt commercial dryer next to the washer/dryer. Full kitchen with choice of drip, or Chemex coffee makers along with a decent coffee bean grinder. Three bathrooms with steam bath in the master. Gas bbq on balcony. Dining room table can transform from 4 person to 10 person seating and the kitchen bar has 4 stools. There is also a sit/stand office desk, printer and Herman Miller office chair for anyone needing to check in with the office.
Kookaburra Lodge has a mix of full-time and part-time residents. Our condo is managed by Bear Country Property Management. You will have 24 customer service should you ever need it – and a person from Bear Country comes daily to ensure the hot tub water is maintained to professional standards.
Our plan is ultimately to have this as our retirement home. In the meantime, we’re constantly updating it with furniture, appliances & cookware to make it a warm, comfortable and fully functioning household.
Sleeps up to 8 with 3 bedrooms. Master and guest bedrooms are on the main floor. Third (kids) bedroom is in the upstairs loft. Two hide-a-beds (1 in the living room and 1 in loft common room).
