You will be close to downtown restaurants, events, markets, Peachfest, beaches, golf courses,Family Challenge Route,South Okanagan Event Centre, shopping malls, and wineries. Weekly and monthly off-season rates are available. Penticton is a small resort city with a population of 33,000 and known for it's hot summer weather. Okanagan Lake is at the north end and Skaha Lake is at the south end, 15 minutes drive apart. The city is located 4.5 hours east of Vancouver and 1 hour south of Kelowna. This is a region that truly has something for everyone. Foodies flock to the area's renowned orchards and vineyards; families can't get enough of the many sandy, lakeside beaches; and outdoor enthusiasts come for the golfing, hiking, biking and skiing. Okanagan Lake provides opportunities for swimming, fishing, camping, kayaking, boating and water skiing. From the world famous Penticton Farmers market every Saturday to week-long Peachfest, everything happens this end of town and you'll be right in the heart of any entertainment, but far enough away for a good night sleep!
