Rustic and simplistic beauty define this lovingly built log cabin with breathtaking views of the open Pacific Ocean. A meandering trail through old growth forest takes you to the doorstep of this warm and cozy private one-bedroom cottage. This cottage also features a brand-new bathroom with a standard shower and beautiful tilework. There is also a sofa bed in the living room for extra guests or a family of 4. Just a 10-minute walk to beautiful Tonquin Beach and Park and just 5 minutes to the village of Tofino.
Relax on the large, sun-drenched west-facing cedar deck with book in hand while savouring the sights and sounds of the West Coast, a true delight to the senses. Equally exciting, experience winter storms, crashing waves, wind and invigorating weather on long solitary beach walks or, from the warm and cozy inside of Gold's cottage.
The large oceanfront acreage is home to some of Tofino's last old-growth trees.
Please note: To provide a true retreat, there is NO WiFi at the cabin. Also, there is a gravel trail through the woods leading up to the Cabin and some stairs which may be difficult for those with mobility difficulties. A wheelbarrow is located at the beginning of the trail to assist in carrying your luggage and groceries from the car.
During the peak summer season (June 15 - Sept 15), 3-night minimum and all bookings must be back-to-back to avoid gaps.

Accidental Damage Protection: The occasional accident is bound to happen during your holiday. The ADP covers accidental damages of up to $1000, provided damages are reported to Tofino Vacation Rentals before your check-out in writing. The ADP is a mandatory fee of $10 per night that is included in your nightly rate.
Cancellation Policy: We offer a 30-day cancellation policy from September through June and a 60-day policy from July through August. If you provide us with the 30 or 60 days required notice you will receive a full refund (minus a $73.50 non-refundable processing fee). If you cancel without the required day's notice you will not receive a refund for your reservation.
