Positive: Great location for west side-close to UBC, Spanish Banks and Jericho. Easy bus service to downtown Vancouver
Negative: I was treating a friend to a break but it turned out to be an unhappy experience which was too bad as my initial contact with the host was terrific. We had steeps steps to the apartment which was challenging with 23kg luggage. The main room was a kitchen with two bedrooms (one ensuite) and shower room off. 4 plastic chairs and dirty tablecloth. No comfortable seating despite there being room. The shower leaked. The pot and pan handles were dangerously loose. There were 4 scratched plates. We had 4 wine glasses and 4 mugs. We asked for water glasses and got this reply: ‘As for the glass. We are very sorry. At present, we cannot provide different kinds of cups. There are many types of beverages, such as red wine, coffee, tea, cocktails, and whisky. It's impossible to provide a single type of cup for every category of drinks. Thank you for your understanding!’
